1. About Us
MarineTech Engineering is a sole trader business based in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney, NSW, Australia. We specialise in the design and production of high-end, custom marine accessories and fit-outs.
2. Custom Orders & Product Disclaimer
- All MarineTech Engineering products are made to order. As such, they may have minor variations in color, texture, or finish.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the specifications and intended use of the product meet your requirements before placing an order.
- We do not manufacture or sell original equipment; our accessories are made by us therefor are considered aftermarket solutions not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any third-party brands.
3. Payment Terms
- Full payment is required before production begins unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
- We accept electronic bank transfers, card payments via our online store, and other forms of payment as made available via our online store.
- Invoices must be paid by the due date stated. Late payments may result in production delays or cancellation of your order.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Shipping timelines are estimates only. MarineTech Engineering is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or external factors.
- The only “free shipping” is for local pickup only in the Sutherland Shire, NSW. We take no responsibility for 3rd party shopping tools like Google Shopping or Google Ads listing where shipping information may differ.
- Risk and title pass to the buyer upon dispatch.
- If a package arrives damaged, it is your responsibility to notify the courier and MarineTech Engineering within 48 hours.

6. Installation & Use
- Unless stated otherwise, products are supplied for DIY installation. MarineTech Engineering takes no responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from installation (correct or incorrect), misuse or products, or injury as a result of our product’s installation or placement.
- All electronic items must be installed by a licensed electrician. MarineTech Engineering takes no responsibility for any damage done by electronic goods.
- MarineTech Engineering does not fabricate, produce or manufacture any electronic device. All electronic devices are procured and supplied by 3rd party manufacturers (globally) and as such, if any issues arise due to these electronic products, liability falls on the 3rd party manufacturer, not MarineTech Engineering.
- If professional installation is required, it is your responsibility to seek a qualified marine installer.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- MarineTech Engineering shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the supply of goods or services shall not exceed the purchase price paid for those goods or services.
8. Intellectual Property
- All product designs, 3D models, photography, text, graphics, and logos are the intellectual property of MarineTech Engineering and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without our prior written consent.
- We reserve the right to showcase custom work for promotional purposes unless explicitly requested otherwise in writing.

10. Amendments
MarineTech Engineering reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any updates will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in NSW.
