Welcome to MarineTech Engineering (“MarineTech Engineering”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, your purchase of our products, and any interaction with our business.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. About MarineTech Engineering

MarineTech Engineering is a proudly Australian-owned sole trader business based in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney, New South Wales.

We design, manufacture and supply premium aftermarket marine accessories for recreational fishing and boating enthusiasts throughout Australia.


2. Products & Custom Manufacturing

All MarineTech Engineering products are manufactured to order.

Due to the nature of our manufacturing processes, including industrial 3D printing, minor cosmetic variations may occur between products. These may include:

  • Layer lines
  • Surface texture
  • Slight colour variation
  • Minor finish differences

These characteristics are considered normal and are not manufacturing defects.

Before purchasing, it is your responsibility to ensure the product specifications, dimensions and intended use are suitable for your vessel and application.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • All products are aftermarket accessories.
  • MarineTech Engineering is not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by or endorsed by any third-party manufacturer.
  • All referenced trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

3. Product Compatibility

We make every reasonable effort to ensure products are compatible with the models listed on our website.

However, it remains the customer’s responsibility to confirm compatibility before purchasing.

If you are unsure whether a product suits your application, please contact us prior to placing your order.


4. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Full payment must be received before production commences unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept payment via:

  • Mastercard
  • PayPal
  • Electronic Bank Transfer
  • Any payment methods made available through our online store

Orders will not commence production until payment has been successfully received.

MarineTech Engineering reserves the right to cancel any order where payment cannot be successfully processed.


5. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

MarineTech Engineering is not responsible for delays resulting from:

  • Australia Post
  • Courier companies
  • Customs processing
  • Weather events
  • Industrial action
  • Public holidays
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Any advertised Free Shipping promotions apply only where expressly stated.

MarineTech Engineering accepts no responsibility for incorrect shipping information displayed on third-party services including, but not limited to:

  • Google Shopping
  • Google Ads
  • Facebook Marketplace
  • Other comparison or advertising platforms

Ownership and risk transfer to the purchaser once goods have been dispatched.

If your parcel arrives damaged, you must notify both the courier and MarineTech Engineering within 48 hours of delivery.

7. Installation & Safe Use

Unless otherwise stated, MarineTech Engineering products are supplied for DIY installation.

It is your responsibility to ensure products are installed correctly and safely.

MarineTech Engineering accepts no liability for loss, damage or injury arising from:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Improper use
  • Product modification
  • Failure to follow supplied instructions
  • Incorrect mounting or placement
  • Normal wear and tear

Any electrical or electronic product should be installed by a suitably licensed electrician or qualified marine installer.

MarineTech Engineering does not manufacture electronic devices.

Where electronic components are supplied, they are sourced from third-party manufacturers. Any manufacturing defects relating to those components remain the responsibility of the original manufacturer.

If you are unsure how to install a product safely, please consult a qualified marine installer.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law:

  • MarineTech Engineering shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from the purchase or use of our products.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the relevant product.

Nothing within these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

All intellectual property appearing on this website remains the property of MarineTech Engineering.
